Musclemania® Europe Junior Ovidiu Voicu just keeps growing as his prepares for his final season as a junior. The 5’6″, 182 lbs., 22 year old, Romanian college student made a huge impact at FIBO earlier this month in Cologne, Germany. “It was awesome to meet so many fans,” Ovi says. “I am training animalistic and want to finish by winning all of the MM junior titles. I still got work to do!”

Guatemalan natural bodybuilder Juancho has been training hard and heavy since last year’s Musclemania® Central America. “I didn’t win because my symmetry was off,” Juancho says. “So, I’ve been training like an animal and won’t get back on stage until I am ready.” The 5’6″, 175 lbs., 28 year old corporate translator has been training since he was 15 years old.
Super Goliath Musclemania® Pro Griffin Datcher III dominates gyms and stages. The 6’4″, 265 lbs., Houston, Texas native continues his quest to win this season. In his update, Griffin says, “So far so good! I have been staying busy with so many projects lately that sometimes the only time I can get into the gym is at 1 AM. As long as I keep up my nutrition and get as much sleep as possible, I’ll be OK for next show which is . . . to be determined. Until next time, if you really want to win, you’ve got to be willing to do whatever it takes. I have about 15 more pounds to shed before I step onstage and it will be my lightest competition weight ever, around 230 lbs. I’m chopping it down slow with minimal cardio, all meal planning and timing.” Keep checking to until we know when Griffin with dominate the stage once again.
Indian sports model Junaid Kaliwala carries an incredible natural physique. The 5’10″, 185 lbs., 24 year old is training for the Musclemania® India in Bangalore in August. “This will be my first competition, so I am anxious to get on stage and show what 5 years of hard work can do to a body,” Junaid says. He will compete in MM Physique Division and present classic shape, thick muscle and a year round lean body.
Colombia teenager Sebastian Hernandez is at the heart of true bodybuilding. At 5’1″, 110 lbs., the 19 year old cross fit instructor makes his own equipment from pipes and fills cans with cement to create his weights in his backyard gym. So, his equipment may be basic at best, but the nutrition regimen is conventional. Sebastian explains, “I get supplements at a local store and follow all the latest products. Right now, I take whey protein, aminos and arginine. I want to add so much muscle and am training every day.” Good luck Sebastian as you take it to the limit!
Colombian natural bodybuilder Alex Rendon just keeps growing, getting more symmetrical and achieving a leaner physique he prepares for his first competition this season. Despite living in small town and training in a beachside gym, the 5’10″, 185 lbs., 20 year old is already getting a lot of media inquiries. “I’m just holding off on most of the people wanting to shoot me. Right now, I am just working on my body because I want to be ready for the stage. Then, I will starting shooting with the magazines who’ve contacted. I just don’t want to get distracted.”
Model Universe Champion Alan Valdez will be making a promotion tour this season including appearances at Musclemania® Universe, Mexico, Latino, Colombia, Europe, Central America and many others. The 5’11″, 195 lbs., sports model has exploded on the scene and will be shooting with over a dozen magazines this season and many television appearances. He’s got model looks with a athletic physique!

Musclemania® Pro Chul Soon is already in top shape for MM Universe in June. The 5’10″, 210 lbs., 30 year old says he’s been more disciplined with all of his television show appearances, commercials and print advertising campaigns. “I have been keeping my diet clean all season and making sure that at all of my shoots, they allow me to train and do cardio at least a couple of hours a day . . . and its working,” Chul says. “It’s just been being ready staying focused on my goal – to win MM Universe Pro.”
Musclemania® California star Bradly Castleberry may be one of the strongest bodybuilders on the scene, but the 5’10″, 235 lbs., 29 year old Champion is equally impressive on stage. He says, “You gotta be relentless in the gym and in your everyday life to be a better you. Stop worrying about competing with others. True competition comes from within! Your only competition is yourself. Everyday I workout and try to become a better ME today. I always focus on taking myself to the next LEVEL!” Brad is training to return to the stage this season.
Back from his Nigerian trip, Musclemania® Universe Champion Ty Ogedegbe is looking nearly contest ready. At 5’8″, 210 lbs., the London based financial account manager says he’s staying and developing his symmetry. “I am not gaining just to get more muscle,” Ty explains. “I am only training for symmetry this year. I know what I need to win MM Pro Universe.”

I was impressed with their conditioning considering its not comp season yet.” Simeon and Ulisses are on their way back to London where they will host their Muscle Camp on May 11. Ivan Vera continues to train for Model America in Las
Vegas in November. The 5’11″, 195 lbs., 29 year old trainer is among the
most popular Mexican sports fitness models with a classic mix of
athletic size, great shape and marketable appearance. It will be Ivan’s
first visit to America and he says he hopes to make it a great success
on stage and in front of the cameras!
British natural bodybuilder David Nemnhard says he
never gets out of shape and doesn’t have to do any cardio to achieve it.
“Yeah, I watch my diet like everyone else, but my metabolism is
crazy!,” he explains. The towering 6’4″, 200 lbs. security specialist
competed for the first time at the ’13 Musclemania® Physique Britain and
is planning to return to the stage again. “I am coming back to MM
because I want to win it, man! I am going to be at least 20 lbs. bigger
and am stuffing my face to make it happen.” Those guys with the sky
rocketing metabolism are the lucky ones. We will see David at MM
Britain, Sep 13 in London.
