In his first show, Model Britain Champion Ashley Lewis was an easy choice for the judges. The 5’7″, 175 lbs., London trainer was a life long martial artist, so bodybuilding was sharp contrast. “It was a something new for me, but I wanted to take my body to new levels,” Ash says. “I was always in shape, had to be for fighting. But, adding muscle and conditioning continues to a learning process for me.” Ash says he wants to try MM Physique next season. “I am gaining too much muscle for modeling. My body is going to be a bigger version next year.”

Model Britain Champions Ashley Lewis & Daisy Ward who won the show last weekend in London. At just 17 years old, Daisy surprised everyone with her fresh look and was Top 5 Finalist at Model Universe in Miami in the summer. Ashley is a black belt in karate and level 2-3 personal trainer. The 5’7″, 180 lbs. was all new to the competitive fitness scene. He explains, “I have never been to a competition and i have never tried to cut weight and have always been single digit body fat.” Complete results and photo gallery will be posted soon.

British natural bodybuilder David Nemnhard says he
never gets out of shape and doesn’t have to do any cardio to achieve it.
“Yeah, I watch my diet like everyone else, but my metabolism is
crazy!,” he explains. The towering 6’4″, 200 lbs. security specialist
competed for the first time at the ’13 Musclemania® Physique Britain and
is planning to return to the stage again. “I am coming back to MM
because I want to win it, man! I am going to be at least 20 lbs. bigger
and am stuffing my face to make it happen.” Those guys with the sky
rocketing metabolism are the lucky ones. We will see David at MM
Britain, Sep 13 in London.

Like Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian Man sketch, ’10 Model Britain Champion Mehmet Edip displays a static structure but dynamic in its presentation of a moving, living man. The photo by famed fitness cameraman Robert Reiff was shot in his Venice, California, studio and published in Box Magazine this month. The London based Mehmet is currently working the Hollywood media scene and will soon appear in some new advertisements, marketing campaigns and a couple of commercials.

English newcomer David Nembhart swung onto the Musclemania Physique Britain stage last weekend and was a dominate force. The 6'3", 185 lbs., 24 year old trainer says he's training to continue his wins at the Paris show next month and wants to compete at least 3 lbs. heavier. "It was my first time, so I did a bunch of mistakes in my diet. I never should have been so light."
