Long Island, New Yorker Steve Laureus continues training for his contest debut at Musclemania® New England at Foxwoods Resort Casino on May 2. The 5’10”, 205 lbs., massage therapist says he’s been training for over 10 years but never considered competing until last year. “I went to Las Vegas for MM and wanted to see Ulisses and the top guys,” Steve says. “I want to win and be a MM Pro this season. That’s why I waited so long to compete.”
Musclemania® Universe star Salman Ahmad got into extremely lean condition for the show in June. The 5’8″, 180 lbs., 23 year old student says he’s now training for more mass and better symmetry. “It was my first time at an international level and I see now what I have to do to win and not just place,” Salman explains. “I want to become MM Pro and I’m going to make it happen!” – Currently, Salman is training in Long Island, New York.
He may not have won the recent MM New York, but Jersey boy Jay Diaz has developed incredibly over the past few years. The 5'10", 185 lbs., 22 year old college student focused all season on conditioning and created a more quality physique and it has paid off big time. Next season, he's planning to take the stage at MM Universe in Miami.
