Musclemania® Australia Teenage Champion Adika Njemanze (c) was a lucky one to be at the Muscle Camp in Sydney last night hosted by Simeon Panda (l) and Ulisses (r). Adika says, "What an amazing experience! I see them on Facebook and YouTube and then all of a sudden right in front of me - there they were. The two are humbled, well disciplined athletes. I hope to one day reach the heights that they have and share it with others as they have."

Serbian natural bodybuilder Aleksandar Vukicevic has been training for 10 years. The 6', 202 lbs., 24 year old physical education school teacher competed at '14 Musclemania® Balkan and wants to take on the world's best naturals at MM in Las Vegas. "SInce the show last year, I have trained for symmetry and condition," Alek says. "I have improved my physique a lot, especially overall mass. I think I can handle an international show and show a really aesthetic physique." If Alek can get his US visa, he'll be in Las Vegas in November. In the meantime, he'll be on stage at MM Rome in May.
Mexican bodybuilder Rob Franzoni continues his natural journey. The 5'8", 180 lbs., 21 year old video producer is training for Musclemania® Mexico in May. "I had learned a lot and am focusing on training for symmetry and conditioning," Rob says. "Every time I compete, I learn more about my body and what makes it work - off season, contest prep and show time. My physique is in a constant evolution."
Musclemania® Pro Chang Geun Kim is one of Korea's most popular natural bodybuilders. Over the past 5 years, this impressive 5'9", 207 lbs., Seoul trainer has risen among the MM ranks. "I started training because everyone encouraged me to get into bodybuilding," Chang says. "But, I was hooked from the start and have kept a serious training and nutrition plan since the beginning. I am lucky to have small bones and joints but with mesomorphic type muscle. I grow fast but I keep the diet super tight and don't gain much fat. I got to watch my water, but I shed that quickly." Chang was a Top 5 Finalist at MM World Pro in Las Vegas and is training for a win at MM Universe in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale.
Musclemania® Colombia Physique Julian Tanaka looking lean and ready as if he had another show tomorrow! The 5'8", 190 lbs., 27 year old businessman says he maintains his condition all season. "I just never cheat a meal," Julian states. "I always eaty clean and cheat maybe one meal a week just to satisfy my urges. I got a little out of shape after the show last month, but it was a bunch of water and disappeared pretty quick." Julian's next show will be MM Rome in May.
As an US Army Infantry Combat veteran, Jose Marmolejos served many missions in Kosovo. Now, the 5'9", 170 lbs., 30 year old environmental engineer is training to battle at Musclemania® New Mexico in Albuquerque in May. "I've competed in other shows," Jose says. "But this will be my first natural show and I looking forward to competing with my equals." Currently residing in El Paso, Jose was raised in Boston.
At 5'10", 191 lbs., 19 year old bodybuilder Clyde Mataj after his workout this morning. "The chest workout was epic! Unless I'm about to puke, pull a muscle or pass out, I'm not gonna stop. I have no limits. I dream big, I work hard." Clyde has been training for barely 3 years. The Michigan resident and lifetime natural bodybuilder trains twice a day and is training for Musclemania® Superbody™ in September. "It will be my first show and contest diet, so I have already started to see what's working," Clyde says.

Musclemania® India Physique Finalist Farzan Wasti is in superb form as he trains for the MM India Tour this season. He says, “There are things we do in life that keep us sharp, on the edge, where some simply need to be. This is what it is for me. I call it the cloak of invincibility!” Farzan has been training for nearly 7 years but did not decide to compete until last season when MM India was introduced. “Finally, a natural show in India,” Farzan shouts.
Musclemania® Pro Larry Camacho took a hiatus over that past season and has graduated as a California Corrections Officer. Now, the California star is in the gym and training again. Larry says, “I’m back! New job, new home, new Camacho! Is obvious I lost some size and weight – down to 174 lbs., but I’m back in the trenches one more time!” Larry has incredible shape, symmetry thickness and with top condition will be a favorite on stage, again, soon.
Long Island, New Yorker Steve Laureus continues training for his contest debut at Musclemania® New England at Foxwoods Resort Casino on May 2. The 5’10”, 205 lbs., massage therapist says he’s been training for over 10 years but never considered competing until last year. “I went to Las Vegas for MM and wanted to see Ulisses and the top guys,” Steve says. “I want to win and be a MM Pro this season. That’s why I waited so long to compete.”
Musclemania® America Champion Aristide Pessinguia is training for his MM Pro debut at the Universe in June. “I am just training for size because getting lean is easy for me,” he claims. The 5’10”, 225 lbs., Aristide is not to be overlooked as he always seems to come into shows as a sleeper and underdog and cleans up. He won both MM New Mexico and MM America both as an unknown.
Musclemania® Physique Pro Seung Gon Baek is one of Korea’s premier natural athletes. The 6’2″, 205 lbs., 32 year old athlete has a classic, athletic shape and is a popular choice for Korean television show programs and magazines as well as extensive modelling publication, runway shows and is a respected fitness columnist. Seung is an entrepreneur and owner of a major Seoul wellness and fitness center with over 1,000 members. Competitively, Seung says he’s aiming for MM America in Las Vegas in November.
Adnan Ali continues to grow and maintaining his shape. The 6′, 220 lbs., 24 year old Pakistani is training for Musclemania® Asia in Singapore in September. “I work full time and take care of my family,” Adnan says. “Since we moved to Islamabad a few years ago, its been tough, but I am making it work for everyone. I train before and after work and recently got a supplement sponsor, so everything’s fitting together.”
At 5’7″, 182 lbs., Ruben Caballero is a new junior bodybuilder who’s been training for 6 years. The 21 year old Colombian is lifetime natural and will make his Musclemania® debut this season. “I train normally six days a week in which 3 of those days are twice a day in order to hit hard and constantly all my muscle groups,” Ruben explains. “My nutrition is basically carb cycle (2 days moderate, 1 day high) in which I carb load the days I train my weak body parts.” Ruben says he was watched last month’s MM Colombia in Medellin and was most impressed with MM Physique Julian Tanaka. “I got some issues I’m working on, then I think I will be ready for the stage.”
’14 Musclemania® New Mexico LW Champion Roger Medina was new to the stage and the shocker of the show. The 5’7″, 165 lbs., Albuquerque resident says, “Looking back to my first bodybuilding show makes me feel like I didn’t give enough. People were like, “Dude, you did amazing for your first show,” and I was thinking in my mind I don’t really care what people say. What is important to me is to be the best I can be and get that first place.”

Musclemania® India star Vivek Rock says he’s been hitting the gym every day since the show in December. “It was my first time competing and was such a charge!,” he attests. The 5’8″, 175 lbs., 23 year old training continues, “I never wanted to compete because of the drugs in bodybuilding, so it was so exciting when I learn that MM was coming to India. I went the Ulisses and Simeon seminar in Bangalore in May and learned so much.” Vivek is training for MM India this season and says he will bring a whole new physique to the stage.
Lifetime natural bodybuilder Kwame Adom has won every natural show in New England, but now the 5’8″, 185 lbs. is bumping up his game and training for Musclemania® New England. He says, “Measurements are out of the window at this stage, mirror guide only. I have to win the overall to make MM Pro, so I care less about my weight on stage, just how I’m put together.” Kwame will be on stage with nearly 200 other natural athletes at Foxwoods Resort Casino on May 2.
Musclemania® World Pro Champion Samuel Dixon radiated on stage in his best condition ever. It took the 6’1″, 220 lbs., Canadian star 4 times to win the show but as he explains, it was all worth it. “I struggled, sacrificed and trained like an animal for years to get to this level. To be the #1 natural bodybuilder in the world is a pinnacle in my life!”
Congratulations Daniel Roman (L) on winning Musclemania® Colombia today in Medellin. Seen here being congratulated by MM Central America Champion Alex Rendon, the 5’7″, 185 lbs., 21 year old won both the Junior & Open Divisions in his first competition. “It feels amazing!,” Daniel says. “My whole family was here with me, so it was special to win with everyone support me. I couldn’t be happier!” Daniel will now move on to MM Universe in Miami / Ft. Lauderdale in June where he’ll take on the best natural juniors in the world.
Former MMA fighter Mehdi Daoud says he’s a;ways looked like a bodybuilder but really enjoyed fighting. But, the 6’3″, 259 lbs., 27 year old Parisian competed at the ’14 Musclemania® Paris after being encouraged his girlfiend. “She kept telling me to diet down because she was training for the Ms. Bikini Paris show and wanted me to support her,” Mehdi explains. “Well, that support into a lot of fun and a real passion for me, too. I love the hard core training discipline it takes to get into shape and keep it, that’s the hard part. I’ve been in the gym everyday since the show and want to get back on stage with more size, better symmetry and even tighter than last year’s show.”
New Musclemania® Colombia Champion Julian Tanaka still in ripped condition 12 days after his show. “I never get out of shape,” he claims. “Eating clean, keep my cardio and conditioning is just part of what I do everyday. But, I am still growing. I gained almost 10 lbs. last year, so why change a winning formula?” Julian announced this week that his next show will be MM Rome in May.
